Monster

Client background

Client background

The Challenge

In an increasingly sophisticated technology world, organisations like Monster need to also be able to attract the best possible talent to lead their business in its next phase of development and growth.

To exploit market opportunity they wanted to attract the very best Sales Leader and so the Managing Director of Monster UK approached Engage PSG to discuss the role.

They wanted to recruit someone outside of the traditional pools of candidates focussing on bringing in fresh ideas and approaches to develop the existing salespeople and to attract new people of high quality to the organisation.

The Challenge

The Solution

After defining the role and creating an assignment brief, Engage were up against another rival agency to present the best three candidates that matched the clients requirements.

We used our network to approach a ‘long list’ of qualified candidates with the aim to narrow this down and create a short list of three people, eventually settling on two key candidates that we felt were strong enough and matched the requirements.

We then head hunted the individuals and in collaboration with Monster’s own internal recruitment team we managed the process through to completion.

The Outcome

We engaged the successful candidate and duly secured the placement of the Sales Director UK & I.

The successful candidate came from a completely different market which was one of the primary drivers in the project.

We continue to enjoy an excellent relationship with Monster both as a supplier and a client of theirs.
